Frisco neighborhoods: big-city amenities, suburban streets

Master-planned communities, luxury homes and townhomes, with Universal Kids Resort, the Tollway and SH 121.

Living in Frisco

Frisco neighborhoods put you close to a lot. Shopping, dining, sports venues and corporate headquarters are all part of daily life here, and the list keeps growing.

Two of the newest: Universal Kids Resort opened on July 1, 2026, and Fields West, a large shopping, dining and entertainment district, is under construction as of September 2026. When people tell me they want to be close to the action, Frisco is usually where the conversation starts.

Getting around, the Dallas North Tollway and SH 121 are the roads everyone uses, for the commute south toward Dallas and east toward McKinney and Plano.

How I help buyers and sellers in Frisco

Frisco has a lot of homes that look similar on paper, especially in the master-planned communities. The differences are in the details: which roads you'll use every day, which schools the address is zoned to, and how the home stacks up against the ones for sale around it. I help buyers sort that out before they fall for a house, and I bring the same experience to the offer. Read about buying a home in Frisco.

For sellers, standing out is the job. Professional photography, drone photos and a listing video on every listing, paid Facebook and Instagram ads targeting the local market around the listing, and buyer interest built before the home goes live. Here's how I sell a Frisco home, or start with what your Frisco home is worth.

Frisco homes: master-planned, luxury and townhomes

Frisco's housing leans toward three kinds of home:

  • Master-planned communities with their own amenities
  • Luxury homes
  • Townhomes, for buyers who want the location with less upkeep

What you give up choosing Frisco

Every town has a trade-off, and Frisco's is the flip side of everything it offers. It's more urban than its neighbors, which means more traffic and congestion. And the homes aren't quite as new as the ones going up in Prosper and Celina, where the building is still going strong.

If you want Frisco's convenience with a quieter feel, Prosper is next door. If you want newer construction and don't mind a longer drive, look at Celina.

Frisco schools

Frisco is served by Frisco ISD. As with any district, the assigned schools depend on the specific address, and I check the zoning before you make an offer.
