What your Anna home is worth
A value from someone who sells here, built on the homes a buyer will really compare yours to.
Anna home value
Your Anna home value is shaped by the builders nearby. In a town with this much new construction, buyers compare your price with a new home and its incentives, not only with past resale.
How I value it
I compare your home with recent resale and current new builds, adjust for upgrades, the lot and what's finished, and give you three numbers with my recommendation. See how I price.
What moves the number here
Upgrades, a finished yard and window coverings, the lot, and demand from people working at the new Sherman plants.

What home value looks like in Anna
More affordable new construction and master-planned communities on US 75, between McKinney and Sherman.
- The homes
- More affordable new construction and master-planned communities. As Melissa's prices have risen, buyers looking for the lower price point have moved a little further north to Anna.
- Why people choose it
- Buyers after a lower price point, and more and more people working at the big new plants in Sherman (Texas Instruments' semiconductor fab among them) who want to stay closer to the Metroplex without living too far from work. More master-planned communities are arriving.
- Schools
- Anna ISD.
- Getting around
- Close to US 75, toward McKinney and Sherman. Anna now runs almost into Van Alstyne, the next town north.
- Nearby
- Shopping, entertainment and dining are still limited, but more is expected as the area grows. The US 75 corridor from Anna up toward Sherman has plenty of room left to grow.
- The trade-off
- A longer commute into the Metroplex, and fewer shops and restaurants for now.
